Su discurso criticando a Durban no tiene desperdicio: verdades como puños
Quiero agradecer a los organizadores de esta conferencia, “Los Peligros De La Intolerancia Global”. Es un gran honor para mí y es realmente un privilegio estar entre los distinguidos oradores de hoy.
He venido aquí como un amigo del Estado de Israel y del pueblo judío. He venido para protestar contra esta conferencia Durban, que se basa en un conjunto de mentiras. Está organizada por naciones que, ellas mismas, son culpables de los peores tipos de opresión.
No va a ayudar a las víctimas del racismo. Sólo aislará y tendrá como objetivo al estado judío. Es una herramienta de los enemigos de Israel. Durante más de 50 años, el 82 por ciento de las reuniones de emergencia de la Asamblea General de la ONU han sido acerca de condenar a un estado – Israel. No se lo podría haber hecho más feliz a Hitler.
La Conferencia de Durban es una atrocidad. Todas las personas decentes lo sabrán.
Pero amigos, vengo hoy aquí con una idea radical. Vengo a decirles que hay pueblos que sufren el anti israelismo de la ONU, incluso más que los israelíes. Yo pertenezco a una de esos pueblos.
Por favor, escúchenme lo que tengo que decir.
Al exagerar el sufrimiento palestino, y al culpar a los judíos por ello, la ONU ha ahogado los gritos de aquellos que sufren en una mucha mayor medida.
Durante más de cincuenta años, la población indígena negra de Sudán – tanto cristianos como musulmanes — ha sido víctima de los brutales y racistas regímenes árabes musulmanes de Khartoum.

Es un conflicto arraigado en el bien conocido colonialismo árabe en el norte de África. En Darfur, una región en Sudán occidental, todo el mundo es musulmán. Todo el mundo es musulmán, porque los árabes invadieron el norte de África y convirtieron a los indígenas al islam. A los ojos de los islamistas de Khartoum, los habitantes de Darfur no son suficientemente musulmanes. Y los habitantes de Darfur no quieren ser arabizados. Mi pueblo ha sido expulsado de las primeras páginas debido a las exageraciones sobre el sufrimiento palestino. Lo que hace Israel es presentado como un pecado occidental. Pero la verdad es que el verdadero pecado ocurre cuando Occidente nos abandona: las víctimas del apartheid árabe/islámico.
La esclavitud fue practicada en Sudán durante siglos. Fue restablecida como un arma de guerra a comienzos de los años 1990. Khartoum declaró la jihad contra mi pueblo y ésto legitimó tomar esclavos como botín de guerra. Milicias árabes fueron enviadas a destruir pueblos del sur y animadas a tomar mujeres y niños africanos como esclavos. Creemos que más de 200.000 fueron secuestrados, llevados al Norte y vendidos como esclavos.
Yo soy una prueba viviente de este crimen contra la humanidad.
No me gusta hablar de mi experiencia como esclavo, pero lo hago porque es importante para el mundo saber que la esclavitud existe, aún hoy en día.
Yo sólo tenía nueve años cuando un vecino árabe llamado Abdullahi me engañó para que lo siguiera a un barco. El barco terminó en el norte de Sudán, donde me entregó como regalo a su familia. Durante tres años y medio fui su esclavo, pasando por algo por lo que ningún niño nunca debería pasar: brutales golpizas y humillaciones; trabajando día y noche; durmiendo en el suelo con los animales; comiendo las sobras de la familia. Durante esos tres años no he podido decir la palabra “no”. Lo único que podía decir era: “sí”, “sí”, “sí”.
Las Naciones Unidas sabían de la esclavitud de los sudaneses del sur por parte de los árabes. Su propio personal lo informaba. A UNICEF – bajo la presión del Grupo Estadounidense Contra la Esclavitud, liderado por judíos – le llevó dieciséis años reconocer lo que estaba sucediendo. Quiero dar las gracias públicamente a mi amigo, el Dr. Charles Jacobs, por liderar la lucha contra la esclavitud.

Los propios judíos vienen en todos los colores, incluso el negro. Me reuní con judíos etíopes en Israel. Hermosos judíos negros.

También quiero asegurarles que mi propia nueva nación, y todos sus pueblos, se opondrán a los foros racistas como Durban III. Nos opondremos, simplemente, diciendo la verdad. Nuestra verdad.

In southern Sudan, my country, about 4 million innocent men, women and children were massacred from 1955 to 2005. Seven million were ethnically cleansed and became the largest group of refugees since the Second World War.
The UN is worried about the so-called Palestinian refugees. A separate agency devoted to them, and are treated with a special privilege.

In the Nuba Mountains, another region of Sudan, genocide is taking place as I speak. The Islamist regime in Khartoum is targeting black Africans - Muslims and Christians. No one in the UN has told the truth about the Nuba Mountains.
Do you hear the UN condemn Arab racism against blacks?
What we find in the pages of The New York Times, or registration of the condemnations of the UN are "Israel crimes" and Palestinian suffering. My people have been expelled from the front pages because of the hype about Palestinian suffering. What makes Israel is presented as a Western sin. But the truth is that the real sin occurs when we leave the West: the victims of apartheid Arab / Islamic.
Slavery was practiced in Sudan for centuries. It was revived as a weapon of war in early 1990. Khartoum declared jihad against my people and this legitimate to take slaves as spoils of war. I was only nine when an Arab neighbor named Abdullahi tricked me to follow him to a boat. The boat ended up in northern Sudan, where he gave me as a gift to your family. For three and a half years I was his servant, being something that no child should never happen: brutal beatings and humiliations, working day and night, sleeping on the floor with the animals, eating the leftovers of the family.
