President Obama Announces Three Nominees for the D.C. Circuit Court Yesterday, President Obama announced that he is nominating three candidates -- Patricia Millett, Nina Pillard and Robert Wilkins -- for the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, known as the second highest court in the country. President Obama called on the Senate to set aside partisan politics in order to ensure a fair and functioning judiciary:
