Visit the White House Kitchen Garden
from-the-archives edition of Inside the White House, First Lady Michelle Obama and White House Chef Sam Kass tell the story of the first kitchen garden on White House grounds since Eleanor Roosevelt’s World War II Victory Garden. The garden -- planted in the spring of 2009 with the help of local elementary school children -- is part of the First Lady’s commitment to a healthier generation of kids.
